One of the best water sources in Europe

Water quality more info

Excellent and pure baby quality water with perfect taste

Oxygen saturation up to 100% and rich silica content

No residues of nitrates, antibiotics, pathogens or other toxic compounds

Water resort more info

Prestine pollution-free area of more than 100 km2 on a high plain, in the center of Europe

Rain filtered for more than 50 years through more than 200m of stone and sand layers

Natural reservoir in a depth of some 200m, allows for extraction of 1 billion liters/year

Bottling plant - phase I - more info

Four production wells (and ten monitoring wells) are connected to central site

Smaller bottling plant ready for building (for up to one third of the water potential)

Partners for implementation needed

Water production more info

Continuous availability of more than a 150 L/s secured by rainfall

Permanent extraction of 40 L/s by four production wells approved

Highly protected area of 50 km2

Bottling plant - phase II - more info

Ecological reasoning recommends building of factory in the valley

Bottling plant and water pipeline connection (approx. 24km) planned

Water purification

Purification process

50 years filtration time

Rainfall (mainly winter) gives total natural resources of more than 150L/s

Water is absorbed into the ground...

...passes through Soil...

...into the volcanic rock layer... - this layer has strong filtration properties -

...and hits the impermeable granite bedrock flows horizontally until it meets the permeable limestone layer

The water then flows vertically again and falls deep...

into its collection point: a natural reservoir

soil
volcanic rock
impermeable granite bedrock
highly permeable limestone
water reservoir

Purification result

Natural filtration

High oxygen saturation and self cleaning capacity

Tritium contamination not mesurable: water is older than 50 years

High resistance to contamination by organic substances

Prosperous silica content

pH 7.7

            Water       production

Four production wells (and ten monitoring wells) were drilled and are equiped with inox pipes

40 L/s have been produced for many months during the licensing process

The production wells are secured by wooden buildings and surrounded by protection zones

Production wells are connected to a land area of 36 000 m2 designed to host the filling facility

Bottling plant - phase I -

Construction of a bottling plant: building permit for a production hall (140x68x7 meters) and adequate circulation areas have been granted and landscaping has started

The total investment for constuction and technology of up to 10 million euro is anticipated (depending on bottle type and filling technology) for up to one quarter of the water potential

The filling of 0.7 L glass bottles (without bottles - prices depending on design and quality) may be for instance anticipated at 12€ cents per bottle

More than 16km of small roads, limit production for ecological reasons and originate higher transportation expenses

Bottling plant - phase II -

Basic planning for a water pipeline connection and a production facility in the valley (nearby Lučenec) has been completed

The preliminary assessment of investments for land, production hall, filling technology (highest standard - fully automated) and railway connection reaches 100 million euro

The facility is assessed to allow for the production and filling of 1,5 Liters in high quality PET-bottles at less than 17€ cents, less then 13€ cents for 0,25 Liter bottles (ex works and on palette)
